Ster-Kinekor, Rosebank played host  to the 13th South African Film  & Television Awards  nominees announcement.  The 13th SAFTAs nominees were announced this morning at Ster-Kinekor in Rosebank hosted by actor Thapelo Mukwena. The nominees were announced to the members of the media, guests and on social media platforms. The River and other M-Net locally produced shows took a lead with the number of nominations.  One of the categories that got the audiences excited was of a best actress in a telenovela which included Jo-Anne Reyneke for her character on eTV's Broken Vows and two actresses from The River Sindi Dhlathu and Moshidi Motshwegwa.
