SABC1's UZALO kicks out Generations The Legacy on the number one spot!

Generations: The Legacy loses number one spot on the new show UZALO. For many years Generations: The Legacy have been the most watched soepie, and now the trophy is carried by UZALO which airs right after Geneations on SABC 1 at 8h30 weekdays.

Television Audience Measurement Survey (SAMS) statistics released by The Broadcast Research Council of South Africa SABC1 drama Uzalo was the most popular show on TV, with over 8,1 million viewers during the month of January.

Uzalo has been the most watched show on TV since November 2016, with ratings of over 8 million viewers each month.

Here are the top five shows for each TV channel:
