PRC TV Durban Art Gallery Secret of Beads

Today, on May 18 is International Museum Day, an annual celebration coordinated by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), Ethekwini PRC & Durban Art Gallery as part of their Creative Sessions sat down with Hlengiwe Dube who is an artist that specializes in beadwork and telephone wire baskets and a field worker who travels into rural areas to train crafters and Thobeka Dhlomo who is a Youth Development director at Ubuntu Art museum to discuss The Secret of Beads: Imfihlo Yobuhlalo which is an exhibition of the Durban Art Gallery’s beadwork collection.
