Bonnie Meslane shortlisted for a coveted Umhlobo Wenene FM presenter job

 

Seasoned Publicist, Bonnie Meslane has been shortlisted for a coveted Umhlobo Wenene FM presenter job. The 31 year old from Mqanduli has worked in the entertainment industry as a publicist, writer, content producer and art director for almost ten years. 

“My father called me telling me I had been shortlisted, '' he heard on the radio. I am elated. I prayed for this. I want this job…” commented an overjoyed Meslane. 

Bonnie is no stranger to radio, she had worked as a content contributor for Phumzile Zonke’s weekend show Abahlali Abangalali on Umhlobo Wenene back in 2013/2014. She also worked as a breakfast content producer for DJ Sbu on Massiv Metro. 

“I have always loved radio, I love entertainment and I believe it is time to step onto front and fulfill my dreams. I work behind the scenes in PR and I love being of service to people but this is also how I can impact people’s lives, through live interactions.” 

Meslane is the founder and director of Azania Public - a PR company based in Johannesburg. She’s also the founder and senior editor of lifestyle magazine Nounouche.
