Gender Affirmation Activation comes to Bloemfontein

Members of the transgender and gender nonconforming community are invited to the Gender Affirmation Activation hosted by Access Chapter 2 and Beyond Zero at President Hotel in Bloemfontein following a successful leg of the conference in Rustenburg, North West. 

Beyond Zero is hosting a Gender Affirmation Activation. This event aims to create a supportive environment for transgender individuals to explore and affirm their gender identity.

The platform aims to provide education, resources, and a safe space for dialogues to fostering inclusivity and understanding. This Queer-led event also serves to enhance the visibility and service offerings of the UnmuteMe campaign. Beyond Zero hosted a #BeyondSilence human rights campaign launch and conference, the campaign served as a catalyst for open conversations, awareness, and advocacy, empowering Key and Vulnerable Populations (KVP) to access healthcare, protect their human rights, and enjoy social well-being. This activation will further expand on the call to action, emphasising the promotion of gender-affirming practices in various settings, including communities, schools, and traditional sectors to create inclusive spaces for transgender individuals.

Furthermore, the activation seeks to generate demand for transgender individuals to access healthcare services and enrol in the programme, with the goal of ensuring retention and support for those who participate during this period.
