KATLEHO SINIVASAN BECOMES THE FIRST-EVER E! SOUTH AFRICA HOST AND HEADS STRAIGHT TO THE E! RED CARPET

 

 

Katleho Sinivasan is announced the winner of E!’s reality competition series The Search: E! Host South Africa and will appear in E!’s upcoming local productions.
 

 

E! Entertainment Television (DStv channel 124), NBCUniversal International Networks pop culture channel, announced Katleho Sinivasan as the winner of the reality competition series The Search: E! Host South Africa and the new E! South Africa host. The winner was revealed in the last episode of the six-part series and live at an exclusive event in Johannesburg on March 8, whose attendees included South Africa’s biggest names in the entertainment industry.

 

After six gruelling weeks and a further six eliminations, two contestants – Abigail Visagie and Katleho Sinivasan – made it to the final. Only one could take the highly-coveted title and Katleho proved to the judges throughout the series that he had what it takes to become an E! red carpet host. The winner announcement was celebrated during an event at Taboo Night Club which saw seasoned presenter and host of The Search: E! Host South Africa Andile Ncube and pop culture icon Bonang Matheba as the evening’s emcees.

As the new E! South Africa host, Katleho will put his red carpet presenting skills to the test for the first time when he co-hosts E! Beyond the Red Carpet: SAFTAs alongside Bonang Matheba. E! Beyond the Red Carpet: SAFTAs will premiere on 21 March at 8pm CAT. And that’s not all that E! has in store for Katleho. In May, his exciting journey continues as he takes on Hollywood in a one-off special E! Host SA: Hollywood Special.

He will learn a few tricks of the trade from the E! presenters based in Los Angeles, including E! News correspondent Zuri Hall, during his once-in-a-lifetime trip. E! Host SA: Hollywood Special will premiere on 17 May at 8pm CAT.
