Gauteng Sports Awards back by popular demand and the public can nominate a deserving candidates!

On the 14th of June 2017 MEC Faith Mazibuko together with Gauteng Sport Council hosted the media at an intimate media launch of Gauteng Sports Awards over a champagne breakfast at the Gauteng Sport Council , New Doorfontein. In attendence was also Executive Mayor of Rand West Clr Mzi Kumalo who promised the event will be bigger and better  this year.

Gauteng Sports Awards is partnering with Rand West Municipality this year and it will be held at Silverstar on the 1st of October 2017. MEC Faith Mazibuko encouraged parents to be supportive of their children who play sports at school. "Family members have the power to encourage athletes by attending their games or matches" - MEC Faith Mazibuko
