Zozibini Tunzi crowned Miss Universe 2019 last year in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in December born in Tsolo, Eastern Cape made many South Africans winning the tittle of Miss Universe 2019. She went on to inspire many africans with her overall Miss Universe performance. There is so much that this beauty has done and specially being the first to ever do it. We look at the things that Zozibini made history with! 

Here are some of the fun facts about our queen;

1.      Zozibini was the first to win Miss South Africa after the new management LFP took over after Cell C pulled out of the beauty pageant.

2.      In the history of Miss South Africa, Zozibini was the first Miss South Africa to be crowned on a Woman’s Day which is a holiday in South Africa.

3.      She was the first to wear the new Miss South Africa crown, Buhle sponsored by American Swiss.

4.      Zozibibi is the first ever beauty queen to ever win both Miss South Africa and went on to win Miss Universe with her natural afro short hair.

5.      Zozibini is the fist black beauty queen in South Africa to win Miss Universe.

6.      The beauty went on to be the first to wear Mouawad Crown/Power of Unity Crown the new jeweler of the Miss Universe Organization, Mouawad Jewelry, revealed the Mouawad Crown that is estimated to be worth US$5 million (R73,2 million), making it the world's most expensive beauty pageant crown on record.
