#Somhale white wedding a true wedding of the century

Proposal in Paris, red bottoms for the couples & guests, 15 people gathered to make the cake, imported flowers, smoking sushi, & Bahumi walking Somizi down the aisle for #Somhale
There is no doubt that Somizi and his husband Mohale are one of South Africa's favourite couple. Recently tied a knot at an exclusive union in Johannesburg the couple have become a trending topic since their wedding. Now that the wedding has been aired on Showmax for the fans to witness who could not attend the wedding, it has been officially certified the wedding of the century indeed.
The couple first got engaged in Paris which was followed by a traditional wedding last year and finally this year saw the couple stage the most beautiful white wedding that was attended by the who's who of South Africa dressed in all white with a theme that required every guest to be dressed like they were attending their own wedding. A-list celebrities that attended their wedding were Thando Thabethe, Lunga Shabalala, Lerato Kganyakgo, Naked DJ, Mpho Popps who was an MC for the wedding, Cusi Nova, Ayanda Thabethe and many others.
Both Somizi and Mohale for the traditional and white wedding were dressed in Gert-Johan Coetzee and at the white wedding later changed to C-Squared - a brand Mohale is a brand ambassador of, with a finishing of red bottom shoes. To top it up, the couple's wedding was planned by renowned wedding planner Zavion Kotze, in collaboration with Liquid Image Consulting with guests sipping on Somizi's signature G.H Mumm and gifted Instax camera's to capture the moment during the wedding since there were no cellphones allowed at the wedding venue.

The wedding cakes designers and creators created two upside-down cakes for Somizi that were five tiers each and suspended from the ceiling. Between the two hanging cakes was Mohale’s cake, that had 10 tiers. Each tier was a different flavour and the flavours they chose were Crème Brule, death by chocolate, coconut & lemon, salted caramel & whisky, and Amarula.” Furthermore it took 15 people to make all of the cakes, both those on display and the cake served to the wedding guests. If the wedding designer, Kelly had to guess, they used well over 1,000 eggs to make all that deliciousness.
The cakes were covered in fondant icing, all-white with edible gold leaf, says Kelly, who has been running her baking business for the last nine years from their studio in Northlands Decor Park in Randburg.
Kelly estimates that This is not the first celebrity celebration that Kelly Jayne’s Cake Boutique has baked for; they also made Winnie Mandela 80th birthday cake and baked a special cake for Carte Blanche as well.
The #Somhale wedding has since became a trending topic from time to time from the time of their traditional wedding up until todate with the wedding being available for masses to witness on Showmax.
Somizi & Mohale: The Union took the crown as the show with the most views ever on its first day on Showmax, bigger than any Hollywood blockbuster show.
