Excitement is building for the annual Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) 2017 where over 40 designers, including seven from Africa, will take to the ramp in 16 shows at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre.
We are excited to see designers who have been part of DFF since it inception being part of the 6th edition. Designers such as Paledi Segapo of Palse, ZARTH, House of Alfalfa and House of StLuke have shown their excusite garments from the beginning of DFF and will be part of this year's edition.
Other designers to look for are Terence Bray who won designer of the week last year. Duke, Quiteria & George and many other great local and international designers.
Durban Fashion Fair with a theme "Dawn Of The Arts" This year is set to take place from Wednesday, August 23 to Friday, August 25 followed by the DFF Recognition Awards Show on Saturday, August 26 which honours and recognises the top designers and models taking part in the DFF 2017.
The theme is aimed at highlighting diffrent arts and how they work together.
Durban Fashion Fair is presented by the eThekwini Municipality as part of its successful Fashion Development Programme, the DFF is now in its sixth year of wowing designers, the media, fashion buyers and the public as it brings out the very best in local fashion with top class shows that allow locals to strut their stuff alongside the best in the world.
