The Bachelor SA’s Marc May Just Be The Guy For High-flying Pi!

The Bachelor SA Season 2 will be
screened on M-Net from Thursday,
13 February at 19:00.

Super-sophisticated 30-year-old Business Development Manager Payal Sewbalak – fondly known as Pi – will be one of the twenty two stunning ladies to enter the glamorous Bachelor SAmansion on Thursday, 13 February at 19:00.

In the life of Pi, everything is pretty much sorted. The only missing element is a man of honour who can join her on her quest to scale ever-greater heights. In Pi’s case this will be no easy task. The confident, goal-driven beauty reached the summit of Kilimanjaro in July 2019. Animal lover Marc will be double impressed by the fact that she completed this taxing challenge to raise funds for the Sandton branch of the SPCA.

If they hit it off, Marc’s adorable crossbreed canine companion, Luna, a rescue, will have to share a couch with Pi’s pooches, Bella and Freddie.

Marc will no doubt be keen to help turn Pi’s dream of running her own animal shelter into reality.

Besides a shared passion for fur babies, both Pi and Marc are keen travellers who revel in an active lifestyle. A trip to Italy, France, Slovenia and Switzerland counts among Pi’s stand-out life experiences. She has provincial colours in judo, baseball and volleyball and has already ticked sky diving, shark diving and swimming with dolphins off her bucket list.

Pi is an only child – just like Marc. And stargazers will tell you their Zodiac signs are a great match: Sagittarian men and Arian women light up the skies! Pi says she fits the Aries profile to perfection. “I am honest and loyal, a born leader, driven and ambitious, generous, outgoing... and it’s my way or the highway.”

Her personal motto is “visualise, internalise and realise”. Pi is a straight-shooter who’s not afraid to tell it like it is: “I’m in the show for what I regard as the only worthwhile reason: to find love. I have nothing else to gain from it. I don’t need a social media following or a free trip, and I don’t have a business that needs to be promoted.”

Pi was born in Westville, KZN. These days she calls Kyalami in Johannesburg home. She holds a BA with English Literature and Communication Science as her major subjects.
