Paledi Seapo's 10 Years of Consistency


PALSE moves to new address in Africa's richest square, Proudly SA awards the brand with stamp of approval. 

Paledi Segapo, founder and creative director of PALSE celebrated a huge milestone this past Sunday. His brand that has successfully been in the forefront of the fashion industry celebrated 10 Years in business. While many businesses has been forced to close its doors due to COVID-19, PALSE not only did he celebrate 10 years in business, having headlined major fashion week events showcasing menswear including at SA Fashion Week, Durban Fashion Fair, SA Menswear Week to name a few, the award winning designer unveiled a new address of PALSE situated right across Sandton City, located Webber Wentzel Building, 90 Revonia Road, Sandton.


Paledi Segapo's brand PALSE founded in 2011, has been operating from the Johannesburg CBD until the flagship store in Marshalltown closed down at the end of 2020, marking the end of a 6-year long journey.

Segapo in a statement said PALSE on the 18th of April launches an online store to service a bigger worldwide audience. Consultations for tailor-made wear may be booked online for R950.00 (a deductible amount on the order placed). Or payment can be made by EFT prior to the consultation taking place.

Also, on the da of the store reveal in Sandton and 10th year anniversary, standing as testament of the local roots of PALSE that run deep, the label was awarded with the Proudly SA stamp of approval presented by Happy Ngidi from the Proudly SA office.



As part of the revamp and in keeping with the PALSE Vision 2025, the new website www.palse.africa has gone live and it showcases the best designs from PALSE as well as the stories behind the scenes of the making of the apparel. Segapo also shared that bigger plans were afoot as PALSE delves into other businesses including water bottling, homeware that covers kitchen aprons, oven gloves and coffee mugs. The new designs will also include bathroom, bed linen and scatter cushions. Accessories such as handbags, socks and ties are also in development. A new range of socks, the Lehlohonolo – inspired by the Basotho blanket – went on sale in February and has become an instant best-seller.

After a fruitful afternoon with the media and some of our favorite celebrities which included Real Housewives of Durban - Nonku Williams, former Miss SA Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala and Donald to name a few Segapo said;‘I’m humbled by the success of tonight. To cap a great night of fashion, music, food and great company winners for the night’s Best Dressed Male walked away with a voucher from Revivme SA and a voucher to a value of R20, 000.00 from PALSE. The Best Dressed Female scooped a pair of Europa Art Shoes and a voucher to a value of R20, 000.00 from PALSE.
