Contemporary multimedia visual artist Trevor Stuurman is over the moon with his GQ Style cover. The most celebrated photographer was revealed as a cover star for the spring summer, volume 14 of GQ South Africa, the gentlemen quarterly at Nirox Sculpture Park.

Stuurman and QG hosted an intimate Sunday lunch where they invited members of the media and close friends and family of Trevor. The likes of award winning actress and leading lady Terry Pheto, media personality Luthando "LootLove" Shosha, musician Langa Mavuso, Multidisciplinary artist  Mante Ribane, stylish Yasmin Furmie and many other influential people were in attendance.

Terry Pheto, who is a very close friend of Trevor, spoke so fondly of her dear friend  as she has been there since the beginning of the rise of Trevor Stuurman. Speaking of how Trevor's journey been, Pheto said "I remember when my relationship started with Trevor, some of his friends used to laugh at him and ask; what do you do besides following Terry around with a camera. Today they are not laughing when you photograph Barack Obama and Naomi Campbell, they are celebrating you" She went on to say that people have been celebrating Trevor, way before his major success, they were just not aware that they were celebrating him.

Today, Trevor is on a magazine cover of GQ, a magazine he grew up getting inspiration from as a photographer. Trevor is photographed by Rich Mnisi for GQ South Africa.
