SA’s TOP HIP-HOP, HOUSE, GQOM, AFRO SOUL AND JAZZ MUSOS LAUNCH THE CAPITEC LIVE BETTER FESTIVAL

A new musical festival is set to take-over South Africa’s playground, Durban, over a two-day period, with an exciting line-up of the country’s top hip-hop, house, afro-soul and jazz musos. The inaugural Capitec Live Better Festival will take place at Kings Park Stadium - Outer Fields, in Durban, on 15 and 16 December 2018.

On Day 1, South Africa’s hip-hop royalty Nasty C, Kwesta, AKA and Zakwe will join leading house and gqom artists DJ Tira, Distruction Boyz and Okmalumkoolkat for an all day party that promises to be the definitive place to be over the festive long weekend. Joining them onstage and getting their big festival break are hometown favourites - DJs Junior De Rocka, King Sfiso and Mario.

The rhythm changes on Day 2 which features multi award-winner, Zonke performing alongside the 'Collide' hitmaker, Lady Zamar. Afro-soul singer-songwriters, Vusi Nova and Zamajobe will bring their soulistic sounds to cultivate the crowd.

The Capitec Live Better Festival will be a yearly two-day music event that celebrates the best of musical heritage and will address the high demand for live entertainment in KwaZulu Natal.

Tickets are available today via Ticketpro and all Edcon stores from R200 and at 15% discount when using a Capitec Card to purchase tickets.  Selective lounge packages are also available.

Saturday - Day 1
Early-bird tickets for Day 1 cost R200 for general access.  Then from R250 as of November 25 and R 300 on December 15.

Global One Lounge tickets will cost R650 for early-birds thereafter R750 from November 25 and R 850 on December 15.

Live Better lounge will cost R3500. All Live Better Lounge tickets ONLY available at SAIL.

Doors open 14h00 and close 02H30
