#MNet101 A True Premium Channel on Dstv!
Few years ago M-Net on Dstv was known as a channel for high end people and privileged other individuals. Now this has changed, with M-Net having introduced a lot of new shows that really speaks to many families.
Having being popular with more South Africans watching when Idols South Africa was still with the channel, M-Net never looked back. We have seen more shows with variety on the channel such as The Wedding Besh(ers), Survivor, bringing the international version of My Kitchen Rules South Africa and Dancing With The Stars, on an international production level by Repid Blue to having Carte Blanche.
Carte Blanche alone has become an institution among South African television audiences on a Sundays prime-time viewing since the programme's inception in 1988.
International formats like The Voice SA, an M-Nets big budget reality television show, which we hope it returns for another season have proven to attract the right audience for the premium channel. Not forgetting that South Africans gave Dancing With The Stars SA thumbs up which was also on M-Net 101 early this year, a dance competition that sees celebrities being paired with professional dancers as couples to compete for the big prize, the first season of #DWTSSA saw singer Connell and Marcella taking the big prize.
Now that M-Net announced that it will bring viewers a local version of the smash hit international reality dating show The Bachelor in 2019, it getting even more interesting. Can premium television get any better? Well, looks like we have to have a remote control closer to see what in stores for us. If you can't keep up with the schedule on the channel, well get yourself an explora, you can catch up or record, whatever you like!
Also, do not forget to tune into the new season of The Wedding Bash(ers) with Zavion Kotze, Denise Zimba, Zola Nene and Bernelee Danielle every Sunday at 14h30 only on MNet!
Tune in to M-Net 101 on Dstv to catch up on amazing local
