Pearl Modiadie & Thomas Msengana To Host SAFTAs13 In Sun City!

Thomas & Pearl, SAMAs13 hosts Seasoned radio DJ Thomas Msengana and award winning television presenter Pearl Modiadie to host the South African Film and Television Awards in Sun City on Saturday the 2nd of March 2019.  Today, Metro FM DJs Pearl Modiadie and Thomas Msengana were announced as the official hosts of the South African Film and Television Awards.  The awards are yet again taking place in Sun City in North West province, they are scheduled to take place this coming Saturday the 2nd of March 2019 under the theme "Dare to dream".  Also, Pearl Modiadoe took to her twitter account to and said: "Truly be honoured to be gracing the SAFTAs stage as HOST alongside @thomasmsengana I look forward to a great evening of celebrating South Africa's finest"  We are supper excited to learn that Pear and Thomas will be taking over from Thando Thabethe and Phat Joe who hosted the awards last year and sure did an amazing job. The Minister of Arts and Culture,  Mr Nathi Mthethwa will host an Awards Ceremony on Friday, 22 February 2019 in Johannesburg.  Minister Mthethwa launched the DAC Debut Fund for emerging artists at Nangoza Jebe Community Hall in Port Elizabeth on 13 July 2017, where he explained that; “The fund will provide opportunities to develop new local content and for that all important ‘break’ in their career. Linked to the funding will be a mentorship programme to make sure that these aspirant professionals have the best possible advice and guidance” said the Minister.
