The couples are: Thapelo and Hayley, Mpho and Nombulelo, Lalla and Grant, Graeme and Lindsey and Zakeeya and Ryan.

With each couple having made it thus far – each has a chance of making it to the finals. At the very least, and to maintain one’s pride, all couples will want to make this round. Expect an unadulterated performance with outstanding entertainment.

The dances on offer are the Cha Cha, the Jive and the two waltzes; the elegant Waltz and the more technical Viennese Waltz.

Lalla and Grant and Jay and Tsholo will do the upbeat Jive while Mpho and Nombulelo and Thapelo and Hayley will do the more elegant waltz. Graeme and Lindsey will do the sexy Cha Cha while Zakeeya and Ryan will demonstrate the Viennese Waltz.

MXOLISI LUKE: Durban Fashion Fair Emerging Designer

Mxo Luke:

“Refuse to give up, who knows who you will inspire”, is what Morningside’s
Mxo Luke the creative behind the brand, House of St Luke, lives by.

Mkhize (known by friends and family as Mxo) was inspired to pursue a career
in the fashion industry because he says, “It is something I always had in
me, even when I was pursuing my Bachelor of Social Science Degree in
Psychology and Labour Studies. I always had an interest in international and
local trends, so after working for years, I decided to take the leap of
faith and pursue this dream I had, so I am self-taught.” His mother was also
a huge influence in his fashion and style ensuring that he always looked
smart and presentable from an early age, whether it was for school or
functions. She introduced him to various brands and opened his eyes to the
world of fashion, where he now thrives.

“I love working with people and interacting with them. I also love their
facial expressions when they see a finished garment. Designers are ‘ego

Mathe says she has always been quite artistic and good with her hands and after completing a Bachelor of Commerce at University, to have something substantial behind her, she moved onto the creative side of things and put her time into fashion designing. Mathe has no formal educational background in this field. “I learn as I go along,”she says, which has clearly proven successful. Zarth is now a luxury brand that is distinguished by its stylistic originality combined with the superior sartorial content of its creations. The strong identity of the Zarth brand has evolved over the years while always remaining faithful to its inherent standards. An unmistakable style, the expression of un…
