With just 7 days to go before the BET Experience Africa opens its doors, BET (DStv channel 129) and AFI Africa's Fashion Icon BONANG MATHEBA will be hosting the BET Fashion Walk Experience Africa where his co brand ambassador David Tlale will be showing his inspirational fashion collections at Africa’s biggest lifestyle festival (Ticketpro Dome, 12 December).    Amongst other designers that will be showing alongside Tlale at the BET Experience Africa will be designers Martelle Ludek, Thebe Magugu and Nthabiseng Molefe . RECAP ON THE CHEVROLET FEATHER AWARDS JOURNEY

The event was founded in 2008 by Thami Kotlolo as a tongue-in-cheek, light-hearted celebration of high-profile individuals who, the organisers say, have inspired, scandalised and amused South Africa’s LGBTI community over the past year. Top 3 Spectacular: Duets!

Press Release: IDOLS SA 11 Idols band’s choices   With the shocking departure of Loyiso Gijana last Sunday only four Idols SA Season 11 contestants are left rehearsing this week, and for once all four of them will get a chance to perform on Sunday before they have to bid farewell to yet another friend. The songs for the Top 3 Spectacular at the State Theatre this Sunday [ 8 November ] were chosen for the contestants by the Idols SA band, and will kick off with two duets. 24-year-old Siphelele Ngcobo from Inanda and 24-year-old Karabo Mogane from Mbombela are teaming up to perform L’loyd Cele and Loyiso Bala’s hit “Thando”, and the only woman left standing in this competition, 23-year-old Mmatema Moremi from Limpopo, is singing Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” with Rhema Varrie (21) from Alberton. Billboard Music Award winner Carly Rae Jepsen is the special guest artist for this Sunday’s Idols SA Season 11 Top 5 Spectacular at the State Theatre in Pretoria.   The 29-year-old Canadian pop star originally got her first start in Idols as well, placing third in Season 5 of Canadian Idols in 2007.
