The ANN7 SATY 2014 nominees announced at thee most upmarket hotel in Jozi

The ANN7 SATY nominations party took place on the 31st of July 2014 at thee best hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa!  ANN7 announced the final nominees for all the categories of ANN7 South African of the Year (SATY) awards at a star studded cocktail event at the Johannesburg Saxon Hotel in Sandhurst. The SATY awards seek to celebrate extraordinary South Africans, who are making a difference in the lives of ordinary people. Pity I didn't have a camera man with me, so sad! The exclusive event was attended by the A-List of South Africa such as DJ Sbu, top international designer David Tlale, media personality Nonhle Thema, Blogger Mika Stefano, designer Paledi of Palse, TV presenter Sinazo Yolwa, top publicist Melanie Ramjee amongst others.  Highlights of the evening included live performances by award winning songstress Zahara and acclaimed South African DJ Roxxi. About South African of The Year

On the 2th of June 2014 myself and some of the amazing photographers from Inkanyiso made our way to the most anticipated shop opening in Johannesburg, South Africa; Suit Supply Situated in Hyde Park in a luxury mention. 
On arrival one thing I noticed is that the people who were at the launch were the right market for the shop. Everything OnPoint.

The 24-hour news station Africa News Network (ANN7) on DStv Channel 405 turns a year old on Thursday, 21 August and it's taking its next evolutionary step.

ANN7 Prime news anchor Chantal Rutter Dros says the last year has seen the station grow significantly in a highly competitive market. She adds that a year down the line, “we are holding our own, creating an identity and pioneering new paths.”

“I believe our audience has grown over the past year because viewers see that we are impartial, creative and we have a pioneering spirit,” says Rutter Dros.

“We took significant strides during our coverage of Mandela's death, the Oscar Pistorius Trial and the elections and we're building on that.”
