Miss South Africa Dr Adè van Heerden launches a book club                    Miss South Africa Dr Adè van Heerden has launched her own book club in conjunction with Exclusive Books. She answers some questions about it. How often will this book club run and where? Every last Wednesday of the month in Exclusive Books stores across the country. The first one took place yesterday (February 28) at Exclusive Books in Rosebank. We are scheduled to hold the next one on Wednesday, March 28, at Hyde Park; Wednesday, April 25 possibly at Cavendish in Cape Town and Wednesday, May 23 (not the last Wednesday in this instance), at Menlyn in Pretoria. The events start at 17h30. My book club is open to anyone who would like to attend. So, could it be you? Project Runway SA is looking for 12 South African fashion designers to compete against each other for their big break into the fashion industry. The winner gets to go to Paris Fashion Week in February 2019 to showcase as a pop up. Furthermore, the winner’s designs will be showcased in Edgar’s stores for 3 months. Just like the original hit reality show in the US, designers will be challenged to create garments restricted by time, materials, and theme, with designs judged by a panel. Dr Tumi to gather worshippers at Voortrekker Monument In yet another historic gospel first, music genius Dr Tumi takes his highly successful Gathering of Worshippers (GOW18) to Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria for a Live DVD recording themed Beauty for Ashes on  1 September 2018 . Dr Tumi becomes the first solo black musician to stage a concert at the Monument, in what is a reconciliatory move and an effort to overcome South Africa’s painful past of prejudice and separation. The outdoor venue that accommodates about 30 000 will be a magical backdrop of worship under the stars as supporters of Dr Tumi from all over the country and the neighbouring states are expected to descend on it.  Last year Dr Tumi filled the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg at the inaugural instalment of GOW.
