Simphiwe Ngema Opens Up About Her Journey On SABC 3 Canned Soapie Isidingo With GLAMOUR


Actress speaks on what being on SABC3's canned soapie Isidingo and many other things. 
This evening working actress and singer Simphiwe Ngema who played Phindile on Isidingo opened up about being part of the SABC 3 production. During a live Instagram interview with online editor of GLOMORMolife Kumona, the actress told Kumona that she will definitely miss the show and she further went on to reveal that out of all productions that she ever worked on, Isidingo was one production that was very professional to work on. "Everything with isidingo was very professional and on time, we had enough time to prepare ourselves," said the actress. Where she also revealed that in some productions she would get confirmation of her call sheet a day before and it is something she never experience on the recently canned soapie.
"Also, the whole team was very supportive to one another, they made everything easy," she said. She mentioned one incident where she had an event and the team showed so much support which she did not even expect as there was a co-star who also had a commitment on the day who needed their support and they both got equal support which for her was really amazing.
She also spoke about her music where she mentioned that working on her late husband's project was difficult but was also fulfilling at the same time. Molife who gave her thumbs up for her style, she responded by saying; "I shop anywhere, and my style is really a mixture of everything, it always different from my day to day looks to my red carpet looks and so forth." When asked about what inspires her, she mentioned that she is inspired by her wealthy parents who are wealthy not because of material things they have accumulated but the things they do as parents and who they are in life generally and she went on to reveal that they have been married for 34 years.
The actress who was loved by many on eTV's Broken Vows as Dudu Mkwanazi and as Thuli on SABC2's Muvhango said she when it comes to acting she is inspired by Charlize Theron who is an amazing actress and has made it in Hollywood because of her work. In music she is inspired by Beyoncè because she works really hard "I watched her documentary and I was really inspired, she rehearses for 8 months for 1 show, I mean she is already Beyoncè but she works very hard." she opened up to Molife and fans who were watching the interview.
Towards the end of the interview when asked about what keeps her strong she again mentioned that it is her family and her passion, she went on to say what saves her from going into depression is her passion for the love of the work she does, and her father also told her to always remember who she was before everything.
To conclude the interview the actress also mentioned that she would like to do more acting and penetrate Africa as a whole as not everyones passion is to be a Hollywood star. She said she would like also to collaborate with other African artists with her music and take Africa to the world. She also revealed that she's been working on new song with Kabomo which her fans should look forward to post the lockdown and coronavirus pandemic.
