Nigerian Artist Responds To The Pandemic With A Hit Song!

During the current coronavirus pandemic and strict lockdown regulations; Afrobeats rapper, Producer and songwriter OLUWA KUWAIT (30) released his chart soaring hit On A Low featuring Ice Prince and D Main. The song is to uplift the spirits of people who are down and unable to get out of their homes during the lockdown to hit the party scene. “Party at home,” says OLUWA KUWAIT

“Just because you can’t leave the house, or we are faced with a deadly virus does not mean we can’t help to lift up our moods,” he adds.
OLUWA KUWAIT believes that music is the cure for many illnesses and making people dance even in their living rooms will uplift their moods.
“People have suffered enough during this pandemic, and music is one way of keeping people motivated and dancing, at home.”

The Nigerian born star is currently in Cape Town, working on his upcoming EP featuring a handful of surprise acts.
“Maybe I will also include an international act, but who knows. But the project is a big surprise that will change the game,” he adds.

OLUWA KUWAIT, born Edisemi Oromoni began his music career in 2013 where he moved to the city of Kuwait in Nigeria where he inherited the name. His music is inspired by the sounds of Bob Marley, TuPac, The Notorious BIG and and Fela Kuti.
In his journey Oluwa Kuwait has been able to work with established artists from across the globe as a producer and he now branches out to pursue his career taking centre stage.
