In a bid to discover young, fresh and new hairstyling talent in Mzansi, leading haircare brand Sofnfree selected six finalists to compete for the YoungXperts crown prized at R30 000.00. The finalists from various provinces will showcase their creativity and flair at the HairXperts grand finale on June 23rd at the Teatro at Montecasino.
“We added the YoungXperts category to the competition with the aim of discovering emerging, exciting talent in South Africa’s hair industry. Young hair technicians are full of energy, are eager to express their creativity and skill, and we want to be part of their blooming journeys in the hair industry and nurture their talents,” said Sofnfree Marketing Manager Noeleen Burger.
The YoungXperts finalists include Lee Van Der Byl from Kwa-Zulu Natal, Nokuthula Fortunate Masuku and Milsent Mbhunqela from Gauteng, Tarryn Duiker and Jesse Gallant from the Eastern Cape, Charvonne Miller from North West. They will compete head-to-head for the title at the Sofnfree 2019 HairXperts through the themes ‘HairVolution’ and ‘Evolution of Style’.
“In honour and commemoration of youth month, the YoungXperts also represent the future and evolution of South Africa’s hairstyling brilliance. We look forward to seeing how they will express their individuality and style at the finale,” added Burger.
Tickets to the finale are available in each province from various Sofnfree hair technicians.
